Maine Lifestyle,
Adventure,
& Living Tall

My story...

I am privileged to have grown up in Maine. My experiences have led me to appreciate the beauty and opportunities of this state. I have lived in many Maine towns, but growing up my life centered around Sebago Lake. I consider Sebago Lake to be "home," and I am currently president of a non-profit group called Friends of Sebago Lake that advocates to protect this natural resource.

When I was eighteen I wanted to take my love of water and adventure to the next level and became a whitewater rafting guide. I have traveled north every summer since to enjoy the waves of the Kennebec and the company of great people I have met over the years. It was during my time as a rafting guide that I discovered how much I truly enjoy working with people. This discovery led to my career as a teacher.

I love challenges, and working as a middle school science teacher allows me to practice my skills of problem solving and adapting in any situation. My life takes me in many directions, and I have to dress for all occasions. My closet consists of clothing for all seasons, and all conditions, indoor and outdoor. It is a great challenge to find clothing for all these conditions being a woman over six feet tall, and when I do find brands that sell in tall sizes I let the world know.
